Job Title: ServiceNow ITSM Developer 7 plus years of experience

OverviewThe ServiceNow ITSM Developer plays a crucial role in designing and developingefficient solutions in the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on IT ServiceManagement (ITSM). The position is vital for ensuring seamless operations andenhanced user experience within the organization.

Key Responsibilities• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements forServiceNow functionality• Design, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows inServiceNow ITSM• Perform system integration and data migration tasks within the ServiceNowplatform• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to meetbusiness needs• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow ITSM platform• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNowsolutions• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ServiceNow development projects• Implement and maintain ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems.• Integrations: Implement integrations with other systems and applicationsusing REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data flow.• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, especially in ITSM and CMDB.• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutionsthat meet user requirements• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning andreview sessions• Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and new features• Monitor and optimize ServiceNow performance.• Development: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications,modules, and workflows using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow bestpractices.• Reporting and Analytics: Create and manage reports, dashboards, and metrics tomonitor platform performance and support decision-making.• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, providesolutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.• Best Practices: Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, best practices, andemerging technologies to continually improve the platform.• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams..• User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNowusers, resolving issues in a timely manner.• Translate functional specifications into logical, competent-based technicaldesigns• Coordinate with vendor for ServiceNow product defects• Planning, organizing, and managing work in an Agile Scrum work model utilizingSprint and Kanban processes.

Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relatedfield• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification• Minimum of 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development andimplementation• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow customization• Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices• Proficiency in configuring and managing the CMDB within ServiceNow• Proven experience in ServiceNow integration with external systems andapplications• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agileenvironments• Proficiency in SQL and database management for ServiceNow• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities• Strong communication and collaboration skills• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively• Experience in developing and implementing Service Portal or other userinterfaces is a plus• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ServiceNowimplementations is a plus
