Position SummaryThe UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences,Division of Community Behavioral Health (CBH) is seeking a self-motivatedindividual to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. The mission of CBH isto address health care disparities through: health services research andevaluation; capacity building; training and workforce development; and throughincreasing access to quality behavioral health services that are holistic,cost-effective and provided with respect to unique cultures and communities.
CBH is seeking a Program Coordinator to coordinateprojects dedicated to improving behavioral health services, systems andworkforce in NM. Duties include: working with accrediting bodies andprofessional organizations; coordinating ECHO sessions; outreach to presentersand attendees; providing assistance to faculty, staff and community partners;coordinating and facilitating in-person and virtual trainings and more. TheProgram Coordinator will hold a UNM Purchasing Card; assist with projectlogistics and procurement, materials preparation and creation of dashboards anddata collection and visualization tools. The ideal candidate will develop athorough understanding of continuing education processes, accreditation, andcredentialing, as they will provide extensive webinar support and real-timetechnical assistance to large audiences. This position will regularly work withmultidisciplinary teams and may guide lower level staff on data entry needs;manage complex scheduling and will develop positive relationships with internaland external agencies and stakeholders. This position will work closely withclinical and non-clinical partners and will assist with implementation andmeeting facilitation.
The qualified candidate should have in-depthknowledge of and experience with: project coordination and implementation;continuing education processes; RedCap, Zoom, Qualtrics, Adobe CreativePrograms and Smartsheet; familiarity with behavioral health issues, thecriminal justice system, and human services-related programs; culturallycompetent and able to work within diverse communities; establishing andmaintaining positive community relationships; scheduling meetings and eventsand administrative functions. The desired candidate for this high-energyposition is customer service-oriented, efficient, and able to prioritize andmanage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a term, full-time, benefitseligible position. This position may require limited travel within New Mexico. Thisposition will be required to work in-office several days per week and remotelyat other times.See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of EmploymentIf this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred Qualifications
Prefer an advanced degree in a behavioral or publichealth fieldDemonstrated project coordination and administrativeexperienceExtensive experience with data collection and databasemanagementDemonstrated customer service experience, and providinghands-on technical supportPrefer experience with RedCap, Access, Excel, Zoom,Qualtrics, Adobe Create Programs and Smartsheet- must be knowledgeable, quickand adept.
