About the role
Slalom seeks an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Global Field Marketing and Enablement. In this leadership role on a high-growth, innovative team, you'll set the vision, build the roadmap, and execute plans to align global marketing with local, regional, and country-level field teams. We're looking for a seasoned marketer with a proven track record in managing complex international marketing organizations. This unique opportunity involves creating connections, sharing best practices, and mentoring local marketing teams to harmonize and elevate Slalom's messaging. You'll ensure our strategies resonate locally while maintaining global consistency, working closely with various stakeholders to craft and implement initiatives that drive results. This critical leadership role sits on the global marketing leadership team and drives alignment with in-market business leaders, fostering a spirit of partnership and providing strategic support. Acting as the voice of the field, you'll ensure the Global Marketing team stays in touch with local needs to drive brand awareness, relevant messaging, and lead generation. A blend of big-picture strategy and detailed execution, along with strong relationship-building and influence skills, are essential. This role reports to the Managing Director of Global Marketing, GTM.

Define the vision and roadmap:
Build and drive the vision for field marketing enablement. Create and execute a plan to align global marketing strategies with local, regional, and country-level teams.Drive global and field alignment:
Champion the alignment of global marketing strategies with local execution to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.Develop enablement initiatives:
Create and implement scalable marketing enablement programs that empower field teams to achieve their goals.Strategic partnership:
Act as a strategic partner to in-market business leaders, providing guidance and support. Build and nurture strong relationships across global and local teams to promote collaboration.Lead localization : Own our translation and localization strategy and processes across global marketing, working with campaign owners and our slalom.com site owner to guide and support.Mentor team members:
Lead, mentor, and empower local marketing teams to elevate and harmonize Slalom's messaging. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and guidance on best practices and emerging trends in field marketing.Lead comms to field marketers:
Drive communication to field marketers through various channels and regular calls.Voice of the field:
Ensure the Global Marketing team stays in touch with local market needs and drives relevant messaging. Foster strong relationships across global and local teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.Optimize performance:
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across field marketing, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.Stay innovative:
Keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices in field marketing, bringing fresh ideas.What You'll Bring
B2B field experience:
10+ years in global field marketing with B2B brand building experience, tech and/or consulting industry experience preferred.Strategic acumen:
Ability to translate high-level strategies into actionable plans including crafting audience segmentation, setting goals, establishing metrics, optimizing strategies, and demonstrating ROI.Integrated marketing:
Solid understanding of brand marketing and advertising, including events, sponsorships, internal communications, research, media relations, and campaign types.Stakeholder management:
Successful track record of winning over stakeholders and navigating diverse relationships.Leadership skills:
Strong leadership aligned with Slalom's values, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.Exceptional communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across cultures and geographies. Real, down-to-earth communicator who inspires action.People-first approach:

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary range is $175,000 to $180,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
