Job Summary:
We are hiring a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to manage the contract lifecycle for our organization. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining contract databases. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards throughout the contract process.Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks, conflicts, or ambiguities, and propose appropriate modifications.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams, to ensure contract terms align with business needs and objectives.Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, including the creation and maintenance of contract templates, databases, and tracking systems.Coordinate contract amendments, extensions, and terminations, ensuring all parties are notified and appropriate documentation is prepared.Facilitate contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while protecting the interests of the organization.Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of contractual obligations, rights, and remedies.Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary to seek advice and ensure compliance with legal requirements.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to contract management.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or legal environment.Strong understanding of contract law principles, terms, and conditions.Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to review and interpret complex contractual documents.Proficiency in contract management software and tools.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts, such as data privacy, intellectual property rights, and compliance with industry standards.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve contract-related issues.Ethical and professional conduct, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
