Job Summary:As a Career Events and Operations Coordinator for the Wisconsin School of Business Undergraduate Program you will support events, programming and recruitment all focused on the student experience and directly impacting student employment outcomes.
Collaborate with lead event planning staff to support logistics and preparation for large scale student programming supporting both the Career Engagement Team as well as Undergraduate Program-wide initiatives. Programming and event support will include career treks, job shadow program, campus-wide career fairs, graduation and other events all focused on the student experience. In addition, you will support employers coming to campus for in-person interviews and events directly impacting student employment outcomes.
Event and program support will include, but is not limited to, student support and communication, event registration management, internal and external stakeholder communications, event planning, project and timeline management, vendor relations, purchasing and contract execution, material and supply preparation and on-site event support.
This role also includes the oversight and management of the Career Engagement Studio operations and events. Collaborating and mentorship with student staff, directly working with student organizations as well as internal and external stakeholders facilitates a superior student experience. The Studio provides students and employers a space to connect and support the career outcomes for undergraduate business students.Responsibilities: Coordinates and delivers career development programming, resource materials, and/or advising to students and alumni. Educates students, alumni, and other stakeholders about career development and opportunities and maintains relationships to aid in effective career planning.
