The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for planning and preparing the logistics needs and support that would be able to contribute to GXO's Disaster Logistics planning and response efforts that are critical to keeping our operations running smoothly.Pay, benefits and more.The annual salary range for this role is $88151 - $132227 / YEAR. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New Jersey. This rate may be modified in the future. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.What you'll do on a typical day:Collaborating closely with customer Logistics Program Managers to execute all aspects of the Emergency Supply Stockpile (ESS) ProgramSupporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the ESS programProviding strategic logistics vision, with practical solutions, to support emergency plans and response effortsSupervising onsite staff to conduct inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, inventory kitting, warehouse organization and configurationConducting inventory management and SKU map updatesExecuting Wave Plan operations the customer uses to select, mobilize, and deploy suppliesAttending coordination meetings and training exercises with customer staff and leadershipCoordinating with internal and external partners on tasks, resource requests, site visits and facility upgradesConducting tasks, collaborating with contracted vendors, tracking quotes, invoices, deliveries, and Bills of LadingDeveloping exercises with customer for long-term facilitated discussions and exercise opportunities with all partnersServing as a program manager in an on-call basisWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:4 years of relevant work experienceExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipmentAvailability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekendsIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field4 years of managerial/supervisory experienceExperience in Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Warehouse and Inventory Management, Project and Program development, Technology program managementSuperior written and oral communications skillsExperience in Emergency Management and Disaster ReliefLean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experienceExperience managing multiple projects in a high-pressure work environmentPossession of a valid driver's license and the ability to driveThis job requires the ability to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weightsStand, sit or walk for extended periods of timeReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
