Cimarron is seeking a Mechanical Designer to provide design support for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel (formally GBSD) program in Ogden, UT. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch infrastructure at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground based leg of the nuclear triad -- the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an onsite position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e. every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area, a relocation allowance can be provided.
Key Duties:
Develop detailed 3D models for pipe supports and associated mechanical systems using industry-standard software.Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure the accuracy of designs and compliance with project specifications.Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for mechanical system designs.Create detailed design documents and ensure they meet both internal and external requirements.Modify and optimize designs based on engineering feedback and project updates.Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise in mechanical design solutions.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.Ability to obtain a security clearance.7 or more years of mechanical design experience.Experience creating 3D models of pipe supports.Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with engineering teams and other project stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.High School diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Active Secret Clearance.Experience with S3D or SmartPlant.
