Key responsibilities:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of NERC CIP standards and provide guidance to internal teams and subject matter experts.Perform compliance assessments, spot checks, and internal testing of security controls to meet NERC CIP requirements.Collaborate with business units and technology teams to develop, maintain, and test internal controls.Participate in NERC compliance audit preparations, support evidence collection, and ensure accurate documentation.Serve as a liaison between internal teams and regulatory bodies, addressing data requests and enforcement actions.Stay current with new and evolving NERC CIP standards and their impact on our compliance processes.Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams to drive process improvements and automation in compliance monitoring.
We are looking for people who have....A bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's degree in
Cybersecurity Risk Management
is highly preferred.Familiarity with
NERC CIP compliance requirements
and IT General Controls.Experience with cybersecurity controls, NIST, and SOC-1 frameworks.Proficient in internal controls testing, compliance monitoring, and leading mock audits.Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual conferencing tools (Webex, Teams, Zoom).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.Certifications such as
CISA, CIM,
or
CISSP
are a bonus but not required.Previous experience in NERC compliance, cybersecurity, or related fields is a plus.
Success in This Role:Within your first year, you'll have developed
proficiency in NERC CIP standards
