Indiana University Health Physicians has an opportunity for a BE/BC OBGYN to join our highly skilled, compassionate team of caregivers at Eskenazi and Methodist Hospitals in Indianapolis. With a collaborative approach to care involving experts from various specialties, the successful candidate will enhance patient and family outcomes, and train the next generation of obstetrics/gynecologists.We are seeking an OB-GYN Generalist with CFP fellowship training for a family planning-focused position with generalist responsibilities including resident L&D & GYN OR coverage, OB & GYN call, resident continuity clinics. This position may be appropriate for new fellowship graduates and/or senior (Associate/Full Professor) levels, with opportunities for leadership development and mentoring/mentorship. While Indiana has an abortion ban in place since 2023, we have a robust family planning program as the only entity in the state providing abortions & exceptions that some people meet. We work closely with Planned Parenthood of Illinois to provide outpatient abortion care to 22 weeks in Champaign, IL, less than 2 hours drive from Indianapolis, including for OBGYN resident training. Other important areas of care include a full-spectrum miscarriage management service, complex contraception, LGBTQ+ care, gender-affirming surgery, pediatric-adolescent gynecology, and more. We have opportunities for growth of CFP research with strong departmental research support as well as a strong focus on resident education.
