Job Description

The Senior Product Designer is an expert in user-centric design, with 3-5 years of experience crafting exceptional digital experiences. This role is part of a dynamic team of Product Designers focused on creating digital products such as websites, mobile apps, native applications, experiential UX/UI, and voice interfaces. The ideal candidate is well-versed in the complete digital design workflow, including interaction design, visual design, motion design, wireframing, and prototyping. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Senior Product Designer will deliver innovative solutions that exceed user needs and business objectives. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive design systems and pattern libraries based on in-depth knowledge of the end user.

Key Responsibilities:Problem Solving:Serve as a proactive, resourceful problem-solver with a positive attitude.Align creative output with project briefs, ensuring solutions are thoughtful and effective.Communication:Approach all interactions with kindness, respect, empathy, and humility.Effectively convey the rationale behind design decisions and articulate conceptual intent and story flow.Present design work to internal stakeholders, contributing ideas during meetings.Navigate between independent work and group collaboration with ease.Seek feedback and mentorship from senior designers and leadership.Remain open to feedback from all departments, including Experience Design, clients, creatives, account teams, and health literacy specialists.Design & Product Responsibilities:Support brand teams by iterating UI designs from concept through product launch and maintenance phases.Utilize design tools to create layouts that align with existing brand visuals and campaign imagery.Learn the brand's specific nuances, including client personalities, brand identity, and industry-specific regulatory guidelines.Understand audience needs and priorities, developing designs that cater to those requirements.Gain knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, including legal, regulatory, and medical science requirements.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with UX partners to ensure designs align with established architecture.Build productive relationships with brand teams and collaborate effectively with departments such as Tech Development, Creative, Editorial, Account, Strategy, and Health Literacy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX architects, developers, art directors, copywriters, and project managers to deliver cohesive products.Communicate regularly about deadlines, revisions, and design consistency, and proactively bring new ideas to the table for personal and team growth.Required Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or related fields (preferred). UI/Product Design certifications are a plus.Experience:

3-5 years in UI Design, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art Direction, or related fields.Key Skills:Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Figma, and Sketch.Knowledge of ADA compliance standards and ability to implement them using tools like Stark and Contrast.Basic understanding of how design interacts with code.Strong grasp of visual design principles, including composition, typography hierarchy, and color theory.Experience building and maintaining design systems.Ability to translate print designs to digital platforms while staying current with product design and UI trends.Creativity & Innovation:Show a strong capacity to design creatively within constraints.Demonstrate conceptual thinking and problem-solving through design.Exhibit curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning about industry trends, new ideas, and teammates' roles.Display a willingness to share knowledge and foster a collaborative team environment.This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of innovative digital products in the healthcare space while growing alongside an experienced and talented team.Salary Range:$90,000 to $120,000 annually.The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
