Accommodation is available upon request for candidates taking part in the selection process.Position SummaryThe North America Marketing & Communications Lead is a key member of the AXIS global Marketing & Communications team. The position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day development of marketing & communications strategy and implementation for the Company's industry renowned North America specialty insurance business. This includes serving as a primary liaison and counselor to multiple executive-level stakeholders spanning our Wholesale and Retail businesses. The role reports to the Marketing & Communications Head of North America and Event Center of Excellence.Responsibilities include:Serve as a primary relationship owner for the business unit leaders across the Company's North America Wholesale and Retail divisions

Develop and implement 360 Marketing & Communications strategy and programming for the Company's North America specialty insurance businesses including:

Thought leadership/executive branding

Product/business branding

Content/collateral development

Advertising & media integrations

Earned media

Social media

Event execution/Experiential (in partnership with the Event Center of Excellence)

Craft thought leadership content, internal and external communications in the voice of the Company's brand and stakeholders, and ensure consistency of messaging across channels

Oversight of measurement and budget dashboard and delivery of marketing & communications insights to help inform strategy and deliver value to the business

QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing and/or communications preferred with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a marketing and/or communications role

Proven track record of conceptualizing and implementing effective overarching marketing & communications plans

Experience serving as a counselor/advisor to business leaders

Expansive understanding of traditional, digital social media landscape with established ability to conceptualize strategies and programs that deliver business value

Expert at helping businesses translate complex business concepts into compelling narratives both written and visual. Strong writing ability is essential

Excellent writing/editing skills

Media relations and thought leadership expertise

Budget management experience

Data-driven mindset and expertise in developing and implanting marketing & communications measurement programs that deliver value-added insights

Experience in the financial sector; insurance industry experience a plus

Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, and listening skills

What we offer:For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range $120,000 to $150,000. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
