Hotel Saint Augustine is in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to join our Leadership team. As the Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in the hotel’s pre-opening recruiting and onboarding function.

The Human Resources Manager is a highly visible position and plays a crucial role in supporting the overall direction and execution of HR functions in an often fast-paced hospitality environment. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The HR Manager ensures that all team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver exceptional service to our Colleagues and Guests.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred OR HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Skills:

Strong understanding of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with all levels of staff

Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and applicant tracking systems

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

A passion for hospitality and a commitment to fostering a culture of service excellence
