KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Trainer to support the multi-billion-dollar Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year. The facility’s location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans. This project is expected to be a multi-phase project spanning two years.
Aligning with KBR’s commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

Project entitlements available for those who qualify
KBR is looking for a General Superintendent to be located on site and responsible for the daily operations for site development on the PLNG project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. This role will be responsible for the activities of multiple crafts on the site supervise and direct the daily efforts of the technical and administrative sides of the projects while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Responsibilities:
May serve as an assistant to the Project Superintendent in carrying out all physical construction field activities
Directly responsible for the construction effort through the supervision of individual craft superintendents
Coordinates subcontractor activities to ensure orderly and efficient completion of work
Maintain positive working relationships with clients, architects/engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and jobsite staff
Early site establishment and site improvement
Documentation of contract changes
All required owner and in-house reporting
This position will be on the night shift
Qualifications:
5 + years of progressive experience in heavy construction
Must have experience working in field construction environment
