Overview
Summary/objective
The Sr Networking Engineer is responsible for maintaining a reliable, secure, and efficient network, systems and data communications network. The position will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment, software, on prem data center network configurations, Cloud network configurations and more in order to ensure smooth network operation in our Data Centers and Hybrid-Cloud infrastructure. In addition, this position also will mentor and grow skills of the Network team.

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferredMinimum of 7 years proven experience in a network administrator roleMinimum of 5 years of experience in cloud network architecture.Hands on experience in datacenter networking, routing, switching and application software.Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network infrastructurePalo Alto Certification a mustMeraki, Cisco, CWNA and/or CCNP or equivalent CertificationProven experience designing, planning, and deploying to on prem and cloud networks.Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, DLP, and other networking security solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.Facilitation and change management skills.Ability to participate in on-call rotation.Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years' experience with enterprise network management7+ years' experience with Datacenter networking7+ year of experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Hybrid cloud.Certifications in CCNA, CCNP, PCNSEAzure and/or AWS networking certification.Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.Highly developed verbal and written communications.Enjoy mentoring team members.

Work environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
Physical demands
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 50 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
