Oversaw all accounting operations for MCC.Prepared and presented accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Coordinated and lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close process for MCC, ensure timely completion, coordinate with parent accounting teams, and liaise with external auditors as needed.Developed and implemented internal accounting controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Analyzed financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.Supervised and mentored accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.Assisted in budgeting and forecasting activities.In conjunction with corporate accounting policy team, assisted in transaction analysis and development of accounting policies for MCC transactions.Lead investment valuation, allowance for credit loss and reserve process.Assisted in drafting of disclosures for financial reportingContinuously improved accounting processes and work to maximize utilization of systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy and detail of financial information available to senior management.What we are looking for...
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting.Previous supervisory or managerial responsibility.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
