Purpose & Objective
AMIRI is looking for a talented Operations Supervisor to join its SoHo location! The AMIRI Operations Supervisor is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the retail store. This role involves working closely with the Operations Manager to oversee BOH processes & ensure accurate inventory.
Duties of the Ops Supervisor at AMIRI include, but are not limited to: Shipping & Receiving: Receive shipments of merchandise and verify incoming stock against invoices or manifests. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and assist in inventory reconciliation processes to ensure accurate stock levels. Send Sales: Pick, pack, and ship orders as needed, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the stockroom and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Sales Team: Assist with locating product or answering product-related questions. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including sales associates and managers, to maintain a positive and efficient work environment. Adherence to Policies: Adhere to Company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, safety protocols, and operational guidelines. Keyholder; opening & closing procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. 2+ years prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math skills for inventory counting and reconciliation. Knowledge of inventory management software or willingness to learn.
$26 - $29 an hour
