The Manager, Technical Infrastructure is a hands-on role responsible for the planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise class infrastructure and software, such as on-prem and Azure servers, associated networking components, access and identity management systems, SSO, multi factor authentication tools, and business software applications, across GMAC and its subsidiaries. ensuring high availability and performance of mission-critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments, including patching, troubleshooting, and configuration management.Oversee cloud services in Azure, including managing virtual machines, storage, and networking. Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization of the cloud environment.Implement and manage backup solutions for on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring proper scheduling, monitoring, and testing of backups. Prepare and test disaster recovery plans.Deploy and manage updates and patches across servers, workstations, and virtual machines to ensure system security and stability using tools like WSUS or SCCM.Configure and manage networking equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure uninterrupted service.Manage and maintain Active Directory, group policies, and user access control. Ensure proper integration with cloud services like Azure AD.Administer DNS and DHCP services for proper IP address allocation and name resolution.Manage Office 365 tenants, ensuring availability and security of email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams environments.Administer and monitor VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi), including managing virtual machines, clusters, and storage.Oversee SQL Managed Instances on Azure, performing routine database management, backups, and performance tuningImplement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, integrating multiple applications with a unified authentication process.Administer Okta for identity and access management, configuring applications, policies, and automating user provisioning.Enforce and manage MFA solutions to ensure secure access to systems and cloud environments.Assist with maintaining production, testing, and other system environments.Ensure adherence to escalation procedures. Respond to escalated, complex and high-end user issues promptly.Monitor the uptime and performance of GMAC's websites and provide dashboard reports to show real-time performance, uptime/downtime.Order IT related products, licenses, services, and software for properly maintaining the environment.Document and maintain documentation on running systems and procedures.Maintain security standards for all systems in consultation with the Info Sec team.Participate in after-hours/weekend network support as needed.Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, CS, IT, or Business Administration; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.3 years of experience in the following: Microsoft Windows Platforms, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.3 years of related customer service experience.3 years' experience with Cisco based LAN or WAN technologies.Experience with hypervisor technologies (specifically VMware vSphere).Excellent organizational, project planning, presentation and time management skills with careful attention to detail.Ability to manage daily operations of the function and prioritize work without direction.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.Strong analytical, multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including after business hours; and periodically be on-call for after-hours support; Flexibility to adjust work hours to support staff in other region offices, when needed.Ability to carry a cell phone during business hours and on-call hours.Ability to travel, as needed, to support GMAC global offices.The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Desired Skills/Experience:

5+ years of experience in the following: Microsoft Windows Platforms, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate Certification.Familiarity with higher education industry and/or nonprofit sector.At GMAC, we offer:
