Position Overview:

As a

Business Development Manager (BDM) , you'll be at the forefront of driving growth for Really Good Stuff and Discount School Supply. You'll be generating and nurturing leads while also closing small, yet meaningful deals that directly contribute to the success of our brands. This role is perfect for a go-getter who excels at relationship-building, identifying new opportunities, and executing strategic sales plans. Collaborating with Regional Sales Directors across three regions, you'll have the opportunity to help schools and early childhood institutions thrive.

Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation:

Proactively generate and nurture top-of-funnel leads through a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound inquiries, and marketing campaigns.Qualify and Convert:

Work to qualify leads and set appointments for Outside Sales Representatives while also closing incremental deals with schools and early childhood education centers.Strategic Collaboration:

Partner with Regional Sales Directors to identify high-priority accounts and develop tailored strategies that turn leads into long-term opportunities.Market Research:

Conduct thorough research on regional, state, and district funding streams to offer customized solutions that meet the specific needs of educational institutions.Pipeline Development:

Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through consistent outreach efforts, ensuring you're always prepared to move prospects forward.CRM Management:

Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track interactions, progress, and outcomes, ensuring seamless communication and data accuracy.Stay Informed:

Keep up with market trends, competitive activity, and product updates, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable resource for clients.Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in education or school supplies is a plus).Proven track record of success in lead generation and closing deals.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written.Highly motivated and goal-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.What's in it for You:
