Field based role covering North Carolina and South Carolina, ideal candidate will reside in Charlotte, NC
Key responsibilities will include:
In Surgery, our products empower providers to reduce the incidence of surgical complications, improve patients’ experiences and lower the total cost of surgical care.
The BD Interventional Surgery Division offers a broad range of infection prevention and biosurgery products, including ChloraPrep skin prep, Arista Absorbable Hemostat, Surgiphor Wound Irrigation and Hernia Mesh products.
As ASC Territory Manager. you will be responsible for selling infection prevention products, Davol Hemostasis and Hernia products used in surgery to physicians, clinicians, purchasing personnel and other key decision makers. This position requires the ability to handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product label indications and sales training methodology. In the surgical arena, this position requires the ability to understand and demonstrate the surgical use of our products, while building excellent customer relationships with key physicians, and surgery center personnel. You are expected to manage the forecast pipeline and execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action.
Qualifications:
MInimum Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience is required.
Operating room sales/medical device experience is preferred.
Documentation of successful sales performance is required.
The ability to work in an operating room environment is required.
Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with KOLs, Surgeons, Physicians, Nurses, Administration and Sourcing.
Thorough understanding of the needs/analysis approach to sales.
Understands contract administration and group purchasing.
Must live within the assigned territory.
Must be able to travel frequently; up to 70%, overnight 0-1 night per week.
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.
