Your Role at Delta Faucet:As the Strategic Account Manager for the Builder Channel, you will develop sales plans, encourage business growth, and collaborate with various teams to improve revenue. This role places a strong emphasis on metrics, KPIs, and using CRM tools to drive reporting and performance. You will develop account plans to secure builder opportunities aligned with our portfolio and gain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape. This role requires strong alignment with trade sales teams to ensure successful field support and execution. Success in this position demands an understanding of specification and the path to purchase, contributing to both growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
Builder Segment Strategy:
Execute the Builder Channel Strategy at a national level.Coaching and Development:
Coach regional and agency teams on effective Builder account development strategies.Tools and Processes:
Champion the necessary tools, reports, and processes for success within the channel and across the enterprise.Budget and Portfolio Management:
Maintain and manage the assigned Builder portfolio to meet business needs.Construction Market Expertise:
Knowledge of major Builder account selling within the construction market.Negotiation and Financial Acumen:
Exhibits strong negotiation skills and a forward-thinking approach to financial decision-making.Decision Making:
Ability to prioritize opportunity costs for effective decision-making.Communication:
Maintain open lines of communication across a broad array of functional areas.Technology Proficiency:
Effective use of Salesforce for management purposes.Other Considerations:
Ability to travel approximately 50% as needed.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years in strategic account management, preferably within the construction or plumbing industry.Market Knowledge:
Strong understanding of major builder account selling within the construction market.Negotiation Skills:
Proven negotiation skills and financial acumen.Communication:
Ability to maintain open lines of communication across a broad array of functional areas.Technology Proficiency:
