Director Regional Marketing

The Director Regional Marketing leads a team of marketers to drive the comprehensive generation of relevant region-based client and marketplace insights, aligns go-to-market plans to goals and target audiences, executes integrated programs that are aligned with global campaigns, and handles overall budgeting, metrics and reporting. Ensures interlock of all local-level activities with global business, brand and marketing strategy.

Provides insights about customers and market(s) that become inputs for regional and global teams, and sets the foundation for program development. Strong focus on region business strategy, local market trends, competitive insights, personas and buyer experiences, planning and budgeting.

Oversees all local-level planning and interlock: brand activation, go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, message development and marketing mix. Ensures alignment of tactical plans to business goals.

Drives demand creation by empowering team to effectively execute on program tactics: inbound and outbound marketing, strategic communication, content production, agency management, project management, social marketing, search (SEO/SEM), event marketing, MAP/CRM programs and more.

Leads all budgeting, measurement, analytics and reporting to ensure visibility to the business impacts resulting from team activity. Identifies opportunities for growth and cost/ROI improvements. Manages actuals versus budget and KPIs, allocates budgets by program/campaign, and proactively diagnoses and develops insights to support pipeline health, conversion rates and overall return on investment.

Influences business and supports sales objectives through effective communication that rely on cultural and operating norms. Collaborate cross-functionally and leverages internal networks to steer successful outcomes for local teams during planning and review periods.

Operates at an executive level leading people and maintaining high-performing teams.

Generally 10 years or more of global marketing experience or including five years or more of relevant management/leadership experience.

Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing, communication or a related field.

Expert knowledge and experience with demand generation strategies, MAP/CRM tools, competitive insights gathering, planning tools and budgeting processes

Expert experience managing all aspects of the marketing mix, i.e., pricing, product, promotion and positioning, as well as activating promotions and leveraging tools across variety of promotional channels.
