Currently, we are seeking anSystems Administratorto join our PRIME CONTRACT Team!
Must have TS/SCI w/ Polygraph before consideration.
Description:
Assist with the deployment, troubleshooting, and upkeep of IT systems.
Manage system configuration, ensure compliance with security controls, and maintain system integrity.
Support IT systems by handling daily operations, monitoring, and resolving issues for all hardware and software components, including servers, storage, and mobile devices.
Apply security patches (e.g., IAVA) and document patch statuses in the relevant tracking systems.
Facilitate communication of system issues and escalation status to management and internal stakeholders.
Improve system performance by optimizing operations and resource allocation and conduct capacity planning and analysis.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for IT systems and quickly resolve technical issues.
Deliver thorough analysis and feedback to management and internal teams for escalated support tickets.
Assist with resolving hardware and dispatch system issues and remain involved throughout the resolution process.
Configure and manage operating systems, such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows, including installation, troubleshooting, network component configuration, and implementing system enhancements to boost reliability and performance.
Collaborate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Owner (ISO) on system changes in line with Change and Configuration Management procedures.
Assist the ISO with completing key milestones within the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and coordinate updates with the ISSO to ensure accurate tracking in security authorization records.
Ensure IT assets are compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policies.
Provide Tier 2 support for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.

CompTIA Security+ Certification
Windows Server 2016/2019
MS Active Directory
Group Policy Objects and orchestration/deconfliction
VMware, vSphere, and ESXi hosts
PowerShell scripting
Proficiency with Linux server administration
HCL BigFix
Trellix anti-virus
Tenable Nessus and Security Center
MS Office suite
Fortra Intermapper or similar network monitoring tools
