Job Summary
The Community Outreach and Education Manager assists in the supervision of prevention and community development efforts by overseeing a variety of grant initiatives. This position ensures the success of established community education presentations, training, programing, and aids in the creation of new material. This position is responsible for all community engagement and outreach components, and the supervision of school[1]based service program within the community education department. Each area below is defined by specific function as it relates to policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Arizona Health Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations. Each employee will be held accountable and responsible for fulfilling each of these duties as well as having the capability to carry them out.
Skills/Requirements• Bachelor's degree in the field of Social Work, Public Health, Education or related field required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a high school diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience managing, coordinating, or implementing community-based public health programs will be considered.• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing, coordinating, or implementing community-based public health programs required.• Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing)• Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record• Fingerprint Clearance Card required
