Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to manage, coordinate, and execute various marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the planning, implementation, and tracking of marketing campaigns while ensuring accuracy and quality of marketing materials. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical, possess a discerning artistic eye, strive for excellence, and be capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously. They will also act as liaisons between different departments to ensure that marketing projects are delivered on time, in scope and within budget.
Responsibilities
Campaign & Project Management: Assist in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns, including digital, social, email and print channels. Project manage multiple marketing campaigns/initiatives simultaneously by creating project plans, maintaining organized schedules & deadlines, leading project teams, tracking milestones, and reporting project updates to stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered on time, in scope and within budget.Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging content for diverse marketing channels, including social media, website, and print materials. Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and resonance with the target audience.Design Oversight: Collaborate with designers and/or agencies to create visually captivating assets. Apply an artistic eye to ensure designs are aesthetically appealing and effectively communicate key messages.Quality Control: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all marketing materials. Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and brand compliance.Data Analysis: Track and analyze marketing metrics to assess campaign performance. Create reports and present on key marketing KPI's, campaign effectiveness and recommend areas for improvement. Utilize data insights to inform future strategies and initiatives. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, external partners and vendors, to align marketing strategies with overall company objectives.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.Two years of marketing experience, preferably with project coordination responsibility.Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies, including digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.Project management: Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously utilizing project plans, spreadsheets and tools such as Asanda, Trello, Monday, etc., in a fast-paced environment.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas, data analysis tools, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting. Strong understanding of the entire Microsoft Suite.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and consistency in all marketing materials.Artistic Eye: Strong design sensibility and an understanding of visual composition to create compelling visuals.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to collaborate with different teams and convey marketing strategies effectively.Tech Proficiency: Competence in marketing software such as Google Analytics, CMS platforms, email marketing software and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, etc.)Ability to work independently and as part of a team.FLSA Status: Exempt
