Summary:
We are looking for incredible Sales Executives to drive the growth of our expanding product portfolio across markets. The Sales Executive role is at the core of developing deep, collaborative relationships with our customers, helping solve their most difficult problems. This dynamic individual will have strong business & financial acumen, excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and is motivated by seeing the impact of their work in our financials. We are looking for Sales Executives who have the grit, hustle and drive to deliver the unimaginable for our customers, and our shareholders.
Principle Duties:• Build, qualify and manage the pipeline. In partnership with marketing research and inside sales, identify, qualify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research. Develop and maintain a robust commercial pipeline of prospects and leads.• Sell our products, competencies and capabilities. Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers, highlighting the unique value propositions of the company's products or services.• Develop deep, collaborative, multi-tiered relationships with our customers. Establish and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers to foster loyalty and expand share of wallet.• Deliver results that will delight our shareholders. Delight our customers by solving their most difficult problems; negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively to meet or exceed sales targets.• Account Planning. Develop and implement effective account plans to guide resource allocation and activities. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.• Market Expertise. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential.• Intense Collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.• Stakeholder Management. Diligently track all new business and regularly report progress to Sr. Leadership through Ascent's Commercial Pipeline. Analyze outcomes of won/lost business and adjust strategies as needed to improve results and achieve new business development targets.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering or related field• 7+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing or related field• Demonstrated history of success in specialty chemical sales• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a keen ability to handle objections and overcome challenges• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and drive sales strategies• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by achieving and surpassing targets• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
Preferred Qualifications:• Advanced degree in Business Management, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering or related field• Sales experience and application expertise in specific markets such as CASE, Personal Care, Textiles, or other
