Overview
The Sr Manager Vendor Relationship is part of the IT Leadership Management function which leads, manages, mentors, and develops technology teams across ETP including Office of the CIO, business solutions, enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Defines business objectives and tactical operations to achieved defined objectives.
Engages technical and business teams to ensure the team direction, priority and focus enable corporate success.
Delivers proactive, business focused IT services that enable rapid business growth and smooth business operations.
Coordinates priorities between the IT department and user departments.
Oversees technical team in collaboration with vendor and other support teams for problem resolution.
Continues to seek out opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationship
Drives process and technology changes throughout the organization in support of business objectives
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Monitors technology investment, risk, and opportunity while providing clear and consistent communication to Sr. IT leadership
Expands adoption of existing technology, where appropriate, to leverage enterprise solutions that meet or exceed business-partner demands
Manages and responds to business-partner feedback to enable continuous improvement.
Proactively advises on technology options and innovation for the business
Serves as a partner in provider leadership for technology solutions and implementations
Communicate effectively up and down the organizational hierarchy in IT and business executive leadership
Develops and recommends changes to systems, policies, and procedures
Creates measures for successful execution, including policies, processes, procedures, and controls
Proactively works with IT Architecture team to design a robust, flexible set of services and capabilities that are efficient and cost effective
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and formal education in a relevant discipline (Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant degreed)
7+ years of business technology experience with prior supervisory experience
Experience working in large complex technology projects including those with offshore teams
Working knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies
Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions as well as able to work independently
Excellence presentation and facilitation skills to communicate complex information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop and manage an action plan including strong attention to detail
Ability to lead a team environment with the Agile delivery values of Openness, Commitment, Respect, Courage, and Focus
Physical Demands
Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
