Sr. Sourcing Manager - Oil & GasSummary:
The Senior Sourcing Manager for the terminal business is responsible for creating sourcing strategies that reduce costs while building strong relationships with operations and leadership within the terminal sector. A successful candidate should have experience in managing sourcing events and category analysis, with a preference for those who have experience in the midstream sector. The position includes overseeing sourcing processes, contract and supplier management, and the development of supplier scorecards. Additionally, the Senior Sourcing Manager will lead a team of two to three sourcing specialists, directing and prioritizing their efforts while collaborating with operations, finance, and legal teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the analysis, development, and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.Provide strategic input and supply market information to guide business decisions and facilitate procurement activities.Oversee negotiations, contract development, and vendor management to meet operational sourcing needs and secure optimal costs for the business.Collaborate with the operations team to identify opportunities to meet or exceed savings targets within the business vertical.Quantify savings opportunities and work with business teams to ensure savings are realized through vendor management and budget processes.Conduct ongoing business reviews to ensure suppliers meet contracted obligations and service levels.Apply strategic thinking to projects to guide business decisions.Advise direct reports on procurement processes and protocols, providing appropriate solutions for stakeholders.Provide day-to-day direction to the team, including staffing, performance management, and setting and tracking annual objectives.Lead a team that reports directly and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve the best outcomes.Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The requirements for this position are listed below:Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a technical discipline; an MBA is preferred.Experience in managing and developing direct reports.Experience in supporting the development of supplier portfolios.Strong customer focus with excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.Proven track record of driving cost savings in a complex organization.Ability to structure and manage complex projects.Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to client satisfaction.Strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking skills to assess problems, identify potential solutions, and make timely recommendations.10-15 years of relevant work experience.Proficiency in data analytics, sourcing, procurement systems, and customer service.Familiarity with business software applications, including Microsoft Office, APTTUS/Agiloft or other contract management software, and SAP or other purchasing software.Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Typically, normal office working conditions.Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, extreme temperature conditions, and loud machinery, requiring appropriate personal protective equipment.
