Auxiliary Engineer - Lead
in the
Warren, MI
area
This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of March 2025.
Primary Responsibilities: Lead and provide technical guidance on the analysis, development, evaluation, integration, and testing of ground vehicle systems. Support the research and development of automotive and ground vehicle systems, ensuring compliance with DoD and military standards. Manage and coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and resources across multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Oversee system integration, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure operational effectiveness and alignment with project goals. Collaborate with U.S. military personnel and contractors to identify system requirements and improvements. Provide technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and system integration plans. Support the lifecycle management of ground vehicle systems, including upgrades and modifications. Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in engineering or a technical field from a college or university. Experience:
A
minimum total
of
ten years' experience
in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, or test of DoD systems,
including one or more of the following :
A minimum of five years' experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, and test of ground vehicle systems. A minimum of five years' experience in automotive research and integration of ground vehicle systems. Skills:
Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to vehicle systems integration. Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, technical standards, and testing methodologies. Clearance:
Secret Clearance (or higher) required.
