Fleet Supervisor

Job Purpose:Reporting to the Regional Vice President the Fleet Supervisor is responsible to track all fleet within a pool. They need to work with the garage manager to identify the movement of buses from vendors and out of circulation buses and bring them back to the garage. The fleet supervisor needs to identify buses to be put on circulations that will achieve PMI compliance. The Fleet supervisor will also need to be an integral part of the operating garage.Responsibilities:
Track equipment that's out of the areaCheck maintenance equipment that's out of the areaBe able to assign buses to the proper circulationTruly understand how the circulations workKnow what off pool buses you have on handMonitor the road failure report and keep maintenance supervisors aware to investigateMonitor equipment for PMI's to either route or deadhead buses according to bus mileageCheck and add deadheads to the recapAccess areas that may need an extra pool busCompare equipment for accuracyBe able to switch equipment in the middle of the runCheck the boards for the area to address concernsPlan manpower when needed for work and deadheadsKeep registers clean to ensure drivers are in proper locationsManage dispatch schedule and ensure coverage for call off's and vacationsTrain supervisors to dispatch
