POSITION SUMMARY
This position is accountable to increment our Industrial tool business as identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities and projects for the company, in a defined territory as well as maintaining current client relationships.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESWorks closely with the General Manager to develop sales strategies that will help the Company achieve its short- and long-term business objectives.Develops new clients and presents products and services that can be rendered.Establishes and maintains on-going client relationships with customers and clients to investigate new business opportunities as they arise.Updates the General Manager and other key company personnel regarding the progress made on all business opportunities.Discusses with General Manager upcoming opportunities to assess the feasibility of business prospects for the Company.Tracks and monitors the status of all business prospects and future opportunities.Participates in internal marketing and business meetings and presents ideas and strategies that to develop new businessAll employees, current and former, must maintain confidentiality by not disclosing to others any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information belonging to the Company.Responsible and accountable for incumbent's own personal safety.Responsible and accountable for the safety of all co-workers and any others incumbent encounters.Authorized and obligated to stop work on any task or series of tasks whenever an unsafe condition or situation is anticipated or is observed.Complies with all applicable laws, regulations and Company policies and procedures, and is subject to appropriate disciplinary action (including dismissal) for failure to do so.Reports all violations of applicable laws, regulations or Company policies and procedures promptly, and is subject to appropriate disciplinary action (including dismissal) for failure to do so.Performs other related administrative and technical duties as may be assigned or requested by immediate supervision (such as certification training, safety training, procedure review, etc.).POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2-4 years of Business Development experience is required (construction industry preferred) with proven abilities and expertise in business development In addition, the incumbent must have:
High level of business acumen and be technically proficient and knowledgeable about the concrete construction industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDiscretion and trustworthiness, and the ability to keep all Company information and materials strictly confidential (both internally and externally) are essential elements of this position.Organization skills, diligent, and be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and to independently identify work to be done.Flexibility, ability to adjust to sudden changes in work priorities.Ability to prioritize work generally and to accommodate those changes.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident and as directed by the Safety Representative or other management personnel. Must be capable of evacuating the work area in a timely manner if an emergency arises.
Need to:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Must provide own transportation.
Self-Starter; must be independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong skills to build relationships.
Proficient in MS Office Products
