Group/DivisionThe KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Job Summary:The Director of Software Application Development will lead a dynamic team of approximately 50 engineers across three global locations (India, US Midwest, US West Coast). The team executes an agile development process, developing applications for fleet analytics to support Services delivery and NPI across the entire portfolio of KLA.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment, implementing a rigorous agile framework embedded in a traditional gated product development process.Foster a collaborative environment and coordinate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet internal and external customer needs and company standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt the latest technologies and methodologies.Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize team performance and project delivery.Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, setting clear goals and expectations.
Minimum Qualifications - Proven experience in software development management (at least 5 years) - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams across multiple locations.
