Job FunctionReporting into the Director of Operations, the Production Manager will be based out of our Industrial Rd, TX site and will be responsible for the plant operations. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive operational plans, strategies, and goals to optimize production processes and achieve targets.Analyze production capacity, resources, and demand to ensure optimal utilization and efficient workflow.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.Lead, motivate, and supervise employees, ensuring they are properly trained, engaged, and aligned with company objectives.Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to enhance productivity and efficiency.Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Monitor and evaluate production metrics, including output, cycle time, scrap rates, and downtime, implementing measures to improve productivity and efficiency.Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement quality control processes to minimize defects and maximize customer satisfaction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and equipment necessary for production.Optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and manage inventory accuracy through efficient tracking systems and regular audits.Implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes and reduce lead times.Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety training sessions to minimize workplace hazards and prevent accidents.Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring the facility's compliance with legal and environmental requirements.Required ExperienceAssociate degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field.
