Description
Amazon's Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Product and Services team is driving change in the Middle Mile. The TOM team is looking for a Program Coordinator to work within the TOM Product, Automation and Optimization team to build, manage, and iterate on Amazon mechanisms and help our team scale. In this role, you would be responsible for coordinating across the organization to successfully launch and integrate products for TOM’s Transportation, Yard, and Gate operations.
In 2024 and beyond, TOM will continue building a best-in-class, centralized Product team to drive overall improvements and innovation in TOM driving and in-yard operations. Come join our team and be part of scaling yard products across Amazon’s ever-growing fulfillment network!
Key job responsibilities
Design, implement, and monitor mechanisms for team communication and product lifecycle management
Build project plans, balancing business needs with project risks and resource availability
Coordinate with central PMO to review feature intake requests from a variety of teams for business justification and customer/user benefit
Coordinate metric and narrative inputs for Rhythm of Business reporting (XBR, Operational Plans, etc.)
Drive small to medium operational enhancement projects
Coordinate cross-team efforts that impact TOM Product
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Communications or related field
Experience with Excel, ASANA, Microsoft Office and other Project Management tools
2+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience supporting project execution and communicating results to team leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to join occasional calls and meetings during Pacific Time hours (9am to 5pm PT)
