As a Facility Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Spirit Mountain's facilities during the bustling winter season. This includes housekeeping, building repairs, snow removal, and event preparation, ensuring our resort remains clean, functional, and safe for guests. You'll have the chance to work independently and collaborate with our team to deliver an outstanding experience for visitors.
You'll get to operate equipment such as snow plows, snow blowers, and various tools while performing tasks like seasonal grounds maintenance and event setup/tear-down. If you enjoy working in a beautiful outdoor environment and want to be part of an iconic ski resort, this is the job for you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance and Repairs : Perform regular maintenance, seasonal grounds upkeep, and housekeeping duties, including snow removal.Event Setup and Teardown : Prepare spaces for events based on specifications and communicate any changes with the Weddings and Banquets team.Equipment Operation : Operate snow plow trucks, snow blowers, and other equipment safely to maintain buildings and grounds.Skilled Maintenance Tasks : Handle basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting to support facility upkeep.Regular Inspections : Conduct periodic facility checks, identify maintenance needs, and report to management.Supply Management : Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and tools, placing orders as needed.Communication and Collaboration : Work closely with management and colleagues, providing regular updates on tasks and assisting newer technicians.Task Tracking and Documentation : Keep organized notes on facility needs and completed work.Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Driver's License : Valid Class D driver's license with a good driving record.Language Skills : Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.Physical Capability : Able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform tasks like standing, bending, and climbing ladders.Availability : Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional extended shifts.Maintenance Experience : 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, including carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, or plumbing.Equipment Operation : Familiarity with tools and snow removal equipment like snow blowers or plow trucks.Safety Awareness : Knowledge of safety procedures and proper equipment use.Desired QualificationsExperience : 3+ years of maintenance experience.HVAC Skills : Familiarity with HVAC systems.Passion:
