Application Development Manager
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Application Development Manager within our North American Vehicle Payments line of business based in Atlanta, GA. This role will be responsible for leading one or two software development teams and their projects. We are looking for a leader with strong technical skills and people management skills. This position will be responsible for design, development and implementation of our unified customer experience UI, a highly visible, collaborative development effort involving multiple teams, backend systems and technologies.

The responsibilities of the role will include:
Managing day-to-day operations of a software development team, inclusive of staff oversight, performance reviews, mentoring & coachingLeading technical discussions, collaborate with other technologists, architectsHands-on coding when neededReviewing software designs and programs, ensure adherence to Business requirements, architecture principles, quality and security standards.Leading the development team from the frontlines, lead Scrum ceremonies, help remove roadblocks, adhere to Agile practicesOrganizing rapid response troubleshooting discussions, code fixesProactively identifying system improvement opportunities, embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvementResponsible for people processes including hiring, mentoring and performance reviewsProviding leadership to team by communicating vision, strategies and objectives to employeesWorking closely with Product Owners, ensure timely and successful completion of software development projects.Qualifications
& Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience.Eight+ years of experience in software development with some years of people management responsibilities.Programming experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Restful API technologies.Strong familiarity with multi-tiered client-server application architecture.Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies and MuleSoft APIs is a definite plus.Familiarity with static site generators such as Hugo.Project management skills, familiarity with Scrum practices.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to lead and coach others.Advanced technical & analytical skills required to diagnose & resolve problems.Benefits & Perks
