Overview:
Lead new product development projects and partner with Brand and Packaging R&D to commercialize Fabric Care packaging and new product innovations for Arm & Hammer and OxiClean. Independently lead key and high visibility projects which utilize packaging innovations including providing regular updates to Sr. Director and EVP. This position is hybrid, based in Ewing, New Jersey.

What you’ll do:
· Shape the future of Global Packaging Innovation at Church & Dwight by commercializing consumer-led packaging innovations that meet corporate initiatives including sustainability, margin enhancement and ecommerce shipping compliance, as well as partner with R&D to bring white space packaging opportunities to commercialization. You will add meaningful improvements to the delivery and benefits of existing Church & Dwight brands/products. Gain a deep understanding of the consumer usage of products and unlock actionable insights to determine how best to deliver increased product delight through packaging.
· Partner with R&D to optimize the consumer proposition of existing white space innovation.
· Build business cases to show ROI of packaging development investment and to secure Executive buy-in of capital expenditures.
· Commercialize an existing packaging innovation including financial analysis, operational impact, go-to-market strategy, Stage Gate meetings, retailer sell-in, and cross functional project team leadership to build a business case for capital expenditure to support more sustainable packaging.
What you’ll need:
· BA/BS required; MBA preferred
· 5-8 years in Marketing and/or GNPI experience highly preferred
· Experience in prior innovation / new product development; and/ or commercializing products
· Strong project management skills; experience with packaging or a passion for sustainability is a plus
· A balance of art & science – ability to think creatively & strategically, with a strong business mindset, and the ability to develop & judge new ideas and launch strategies
· Strong strategic and influencing skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders including EVP’s and able to manage ambiguity
· Strong understanding of common consumer marketing research tools and techniques
· Experience with P&L analysis
