Job Description
Will work with Dept. of Navy (DON) stakeholders providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms across DON landscape. This role requires a working knowledge of Dell Azure HCI Stack technologies. Primary responsibilities:Provide services for Dell Azure Stack HCI platform, perform assigned O&M tasks (e.g., install security patches/updates, plan and perform HW/SW upgrades, troubleshoot issues, etc.), report task progress, provide feedback, and ensure tasks are completed on time.Develop and submit change requests as necessary.Monitor and optimize Dell Azure Stack HCI platform performance.Develop and update system O&M task documentationProvide written and verbal project updates to leadership, respond to, resolve, and document customer Azure HCI issues using the approved ticketing system (TBD).Support development and sustainment of O&M processes and procedures (e.g., SOP) for Dell Azure Stack HCI platforms.Support development and implementation of disaster recovery, business continuity, and failover/cutover procedures.Develop, update, and provide input on Dell Azure Stack HCI platform support tools and documentation.
Job Requirements
DoD 8140 System Administrator role certification (at least one of the following) - CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)+ CE, Cisco Certified Network Professional-Security (CCNP-Security) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Required)Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (Desired)An active DoD Secret clearance
Experience/Skills:5+ years overall IT experience3+ years providing operations and administration support of enterprise IT systems and services.Experience with Azure Stack HCI technology (e.g. Hyper -V), Powershell, STIGs, Windows administration toolsBasic knowledge of networking technologies (layer 2, layer 3)Strong communication skills capable of communicating technical concepts to audience with broad range of knowledge and experience.Able to travel up to 25% in support of Navy operational requirements.Able to obtain US passport.
