Job SummaryWe seek a Cloud Engineer with experience in Azure and AWS cloud platforms. You will assist in building and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring its performance, availability, and security. This role requires a passion for cloud technologies and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset NJ and SHI Austin office location as determined by SHI management.

ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:
Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in
Azure and AWS
environments
Support the migration of existing applications and workloads to the cloud
Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions
Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like
Terraform
Assist in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications
Monitor cloud resources and help optimize performance and costs
Ensure security and compliance by implementing cloud security best practices and controls
Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions
Work with teams to document cloud architectures and operational procedures
Stay informed of cloud platform updates and new services to leverage within projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure
Understanding cloud architecture principles, including computing, storage, networking, and security
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform
Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., DNS, VPNs, VPCs)
Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
Experience with monitoring and performance optimization of cloud resources
AWS or Azure certifications are a plus
Required Skills
Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $125,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
