Senior Systems Administrator
to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.About the role:As a
Senior Systems Administrator , you will support, design, maintain and monitor internal and external networks. Implement and manage all systems, applications, security and network configurations. Resolve network performance issues and establish a disaster recovery plan. Recommend upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to users. Rely on knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.What we are looking for:Ten plus years of relevant hands-on experienceGreat at bash scripting, PythonStrong experience with Linux operating systems (OS), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Strong experience with container and virtual applications (Docker, Ansible, VMware, Kubernetes)Experience with Cybersecurity tools (Suricata, zeek)Experience with Elastic, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)Able to resolve production performance, server, and application related issues to ensure the restoration of the environmentFamiliar with network devicesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, a Master's degree is a plusObtain CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Highly preferred:CCNA, CCDE, and Security+ or other IAT Level I certificationUnderstanding of the project lifecycle, and related processesGood problem-solving abilities and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEagerness to learn and adapt to changing business requirements
Clearance Requirements:Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:Hybrid - Colorado Springs, COMay require up to 10% travel
Salary Range :$110,000 - $180,000The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
