Overview: Under general supervision, the Medical Office Manager oversees the operational and administrative functions, with a specific focus on serving Chinese-speaking patients. Responsible for ensuring efficient office operations, staff management, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversees daily operations of the front and back office, including scheduling, patient registration, billing, collections, and insurance verification.

Manages and trains office staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Implements and maintains electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software.

Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.

Coordinates with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.

Analyzes financial data and prepares reports for management.

Resolves patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Participates in quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.

Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is essential.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical office management.

Strong proficiency in EHRs, practice management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.
