Senior Associate, M365 Platform Administrator (Remote)
Position Overview
The Pew Charitable Trusts is seeking a Microsoft 365 platform administrator to join our team! This position is newly created to support and enhance the growing adoption of our Microsoft 365 platform, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other tools. This key contributor will report to our Senior Manager, Microsoft Applications and Integrations.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with IT teams and internal stakeholders to design and implement Microsoft 365 applications and features with a focus on excellent user experience and increased adoption.
· Configure and implement Microsoft 365 applications and features to meet business requirements, industry best practices, and security guidelines. Investigate new features and evaluate them against emerging business needs through close collaboration with IT partners and external stakeholders.
· Serve as the third level of escalation by providing technical guidance and support to end-users and IT staff, addressing their questions and issues related to Microsoft 365.
· Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
· Assist with performance and usability audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
· S tay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features, changes, updates, roadmaps, and releases.
· Monitor performance, availability, and configuration standards of Microsoft 365 services and take appropriate actions to ensure service levels are met.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
· Generally, requires 4 years of experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Office 365 tenant administration - Required.
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including user management, license management, security settings, and compliance features - Required.
· Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams - Required.
· Hands-on experience with the Agile methodology – Preferred.
· Programming / scripting skills using PowerShell scripting for Office 365 automation and administration – Preferred.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention solutions - Preferred.
· Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory – Preferred.
· Recognition of cyber security threats and risks, as well as the importance of protecting the enterprise – Preferred.
Non-Technical Skills
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) as well as technical writing.
· Ability to work both independently and in a geographically dispersed team environment.
· Good problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to understand and analyze complex issues.
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities efficiently and with a high level of quality.
· Ability to simplify complex subjects so that non-technical audiences can easily understand.
· Ability to assess the impact of changes and quantify risk to ensure appropriate business decisions are made.
Travel
This position requires quarterly travel to Pew’s Washington DC office for training, meetings, or conferences.

Salary Range
$105,400 USD - $117,800 USD
The salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on Pew’s commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay. The actual salary offered will take into consideration many factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and experience, internal pay equity, and business need.
