Title : Senior Cloud Engineer
Location : Washington, DC
Description :
S2i2 is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team and drive the development, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidatewill have deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining complex cloud environments.
Responsibilities :• Setup Cloud Instances and Services - including Deployment Groups which consist of multi-AZsubnets for a DMZ, shared services, and for customer applications.• Support Document configuration and architecture of the United States Mint's use of CloudInstances.• User Access and Account Configuration on Managed hosts and applications.• Monitor tickets through completion with Cloud Service Provider.• Setup/Configuration of Site-to-Site Virtual Private Network (VPN) Tunnel between United States Mint and Cloud DMZ (including analysis, design, implementation, and checkout of theconnectivity. Note: This MUST be compliant with the current TIC. Reference Model and Treasury TIC requirements.
Experience and Certification Requirements:• 15 years of relevant experience.• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or relevant field.• AWS Solutions Architect OR AWS SysOps Administrator.• Practical skills, training, experience, and strong understandings of design, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining.• Amazon Elastic bean (EC2), Simple Storage Services (S3), Elastic block storage), Cloud for cloud hosting, and future AWS offerings.
