As a Provider Engagement Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships with healthcare providers who share our passion for caring for elderly participants in the PACE program. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring that our participants receive the highest quality care through strong partnerships and seamless collaboration.

You will serve as a trusted liaison between our internal team and the provider community, ensuring open lines of communication, addressing any concerns, and helping to improve processes that make care delivery even more effective. By facilitating outreach events, training sessions, and meetings, you'll help foster an environment where providers feel valued, informed, and connected to our mission.

What does success look like as a Provider Engagement Specialist

Build Meaningful Relationships : You'll develop and maintain strong, trusting connections with primary care physicians, specialists, and healthcare providers who care for our PACE participants.Foster Open Communication : Coordinate and lead meetings, outreach events, and training sessions to keep providers engaged and up-to-date with our PACE program offerings, processes, and expectations.Collaborate as a Team : Partner with our clinical, administrative, and operations teams to enhance provider participation and ensure smooth coordination of care.Solve Problems Proactively : Serve as a go-to resource for providers, helping to address their questions, resolve concerns, and ensure clear communication with our PACE interdisciplinary team.Drive Process Improvements : Look for opportunities to improve the way we collaborate, making sure that we're always working towards the best possible outcomes for our participants.Monitor and Support Quality : Work with the quality team to track provider performance metrics and collaborate on areas for improvement.Stay Informed and Adapt : Stay on top of industry best practices and regulatory changes that may impact provider engagement, and help the team adapt when needed.Resolve Issues with Care : Assist in resolving provider-related challenges in a way that strengthens relationships and supports smooth, high-quality care.Support Growth Efforts : Help with strategies for expanding our network and recruiting new providers as needed.Pitch In as Needed : You'll also be flexible, contributing to other duties and tasks that help ensure the success of the PACE program.What does an ideal candidate look like?

Education & Experience : You have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, and bring at least 3 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare administration, or a similar role within a healthcare setting.Specialized Knowledge : Familiarity with PACE or geriatric care models is highly preferred, so if you have experience in this space, you'll be a great fit for this role!Interpersonal Skills : Your ability to build rapport with a variety of healthcare providers makes you a natural at creating lasting, positive relationships. You're comfortable working with diverse professionals and thrive in collaboration.Communication : You're an effective communicator who can clearly and compassionately convey information in person, over the phone, and in writing.Organization & Attention to Detail : You have excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks when coordinating with our providers.Teamwork & Independence : While you enjoy working as part of a team, you're equally capable of working independently to drive success and meet your goals.Tech-Savvy : You're proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience using healthcare management software, helping you stay organized and on top of your tasks.Licensing & Transportation : As this role requires travel to meet with providers, candidates must have a valid CA driver's license, reliable personal transportation, a good driving record, and auto insurance as required by state law.

$85,000 - $100,000 a year

myPlace Health offers a robust compensation package for this role that includes cash compensation and other total rewards. Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, relevant work and industry experience, certifications, and location of the role. Onsite roles include appropriate geographic adjustments, while remote roles are typically priced off national pay data.
