The Leader for Marketing Automation Systems will lead Marketing Systems within Klaviyo within the GTM Systems team. This includes leading Marketing Automation architects, developers, and third-party consultants. The team will implement and optimize our marketing automation platforms, explicitly focusing on Salesforce and other marketing automation engines like Klaviyo, Marketo, Salesforce, Qualified, etc. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing processes, CRM systems, and integration techniques to ensure seamless data flow and effective marketing strategies.Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:Lead the marketing systems team to maximize the impact from the team to Klaviyo as well as personal growth for each team memberMentor/coach/guide team membersCareer progression/planning for team membersDesign and Architecture Guidance:Ability to transform existing marketing systems to meet the needs of future scale and growth with a strong emphasis on automationDesign scalable and efficient solutions for integrating Salesforce with other marketing and sales tools.Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and integration plans.Implementation and Optimization:Lead the implementation of marketing automation solutions, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed.Implement crucial marketing capabilities like Lead Scoring, Marketing Attribution, Lead Nurturing, etc.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to configure and optimize marketing automation workflows and campaigns to create effective marketing automation strategies.Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.Integration and Data Management:Design and implement integration between all marketing tools from the top of the funnel, including the website to the marketing automation engine and CRMDesign and implement data integration solutions between Salesforce and other marketing and sales platforms.Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems for high-volume data transfers, implementing data governance best practices.Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes to support marketing analytics and reporting.Technical Leadership:Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in marketing automation and CRM systems.Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the marketing automation infrastructure.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Team leadership experience with a focus on empathy-based leadership5+ years of experience in marketing automation systems architecture and implementation, with a strong focus on architecture best practices.Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.Strong understanding of marketing processes, data management, and analytics.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with additional marketing automation tools (e.g., Klaviyo).Familiarity with specific technologies: Salesforce, LeanData, Qualified, DemandTools, Klaviyo, Jira, SlackKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL for data manipulation and automation.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and related technologies.
The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$120,000-$180,000 USD
