We are seeking an experienced
Cryptologic Computer Scientist
with relevant experience in computer systems research; simulation/model development and prototyping; software design programming; computational science; algorithm analysis and design; reverse engineering; and/or designing/developing computer or information systems, including engineering hardware and/or software.
This role resides in our Cyber department and reports to our Program Manager. This position is in the Ft. Meade area on customer site with a 10% travel requirement.
SIXGEN supports cyber and intelligence missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. Our highly skilled operators conduct research and assessments based on real-world threats. We simulate adversaries and malicious actors to report details and actionable findings on critical assets and infrastructures. Our program planners advise mission owners to bring rapid solutions to intelligence mission leaders. Using innovative processes, tools, and techniques, we predict and overcome cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Our successes are supported by our diverse team of experienced, technical talent. Core Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deliver and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. The solutions may arise in the forms of forensics and attack attribution, protection of critical networks, active systems warnings and indicators, active penetration into target systems, knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support.Requisite computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structure) are applied to each problem to provide state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and approaches.Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree must be in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.Additional Details

This range reflects our compensation philosophy, which takes into account various factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, skills, LCATs rates and position level, and market competitiveness. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation to include our growth incentive program, incentives and benefits. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
