What's the opportunity?
The Intercom Creative Studio is seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Designer with a proven track record in designing for multi-channel marketing initiatives. In this role, you'll tackle a wide range of projects, working closely with our marketing team and collaborating across the broader organization. Our in-house creative team may be small, but we're growing fast, bringing together a talented and diverse group of professionals with unique backgrounds and expertise. Execute high-impact designs for marketing campaigns across multiple channels, adhering to established visual styles. This includes paid and organic digital content, reports, e-books, webinars, events, deck design, sales enablement materials, and more.Proactively identify opportunities to refine templates, streamline design production processes, and contribute to the ongoing success of the design team.Take full ownership of the final production and flawless execution of campaigns, ensuring design excellence from concept to completion.Apply new and evolving design systems to branded touch points, ensuring consistency and innovation across all materials.Position Intercom's brand as an industry leader and trusted reference point through bold, strategic design.Elevate Intercom's social media presence by crafting impactful visuals for both static and video-based content.Collaborate with animators to develop engaging motion-based assets that enhance our visual storytelling.Deliver high-quality design work that aligns with both our brand identity and business objectives, driving measurable outcomes.Partner seamlessly with designers, writers, producers, and marketers to ensure projects are executed efficiently and creatively.Continuously deepen your knowledge of Intercom's products and maintain a strong understanding of our B2B SaaS audience, ensuring empathy-driven design.What skills do I need?5+ years of design experience with a robust portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of brand and marketing design work.Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with proven proficiency in creating high-quality designs.Exceptional attention to detail, able to focus on the finer aspects of design while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.Skilled in finalizing projects for delivery across both digital and print mediums, ensuring flawless execution.Experience collaborating effectively with fellow designers, contributing to a cohesive creative process.Capable of taking direction while also working independently, driving projects to completion with minimal oversight.Adept at balancing an awareness of emerging design trends with a commitment to upholding Intercom's core brand identity.Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how changes can impact the brand at a systems-wide level.Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly, honestly, and respectfully to team members and stakeholders.Confident in articulating and defending design decisions to senior leadership, grounded in both creative and business rationale.In-depth knowledge of Intercom's brand strategy, with the ability to apply it thoughtfully across various touch points.Strong business acumen, understanding how design contributes to broader business goals and strategies.Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to evolving project needs with agility and confidence.Benefits

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $138,750 - $161,250. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
