The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst plays a key role in supporting multiple Client business units by ensuring projects meet high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. This role involves reviewing and validating test plans, test results, and project deliverables, while participating in the PMO Q-Gate process. The Sr. QA Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development, testing, and implementation, with a strong focus on continuous process improvement. The analyst also monitors QA tasks within test life cycles, change management, and release management, while offering mentorship to junior team members and leading lab testing activities. This position requires expertise in implementing lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive process optimization and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on projects of varying complexity within different IT development environments
Review and validate test plans, results, and project deliverables, creating compliance checklists
Monitor QA processes like test life cycles, change management, and release management
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and metrics to improve QA workflows
Conduct root cause analysis on technical and operational problems, documenting findings
Recommend improvements for software defects, project timelines, and testing processes
Provide mentorship to junior team members and lead lab testing coordination
Support continuous improvement efforts using lean or Six Sigma methodologies
Ensure system requirements are met and drive the evolution of QA strategies
