Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Business Analyst with expertise in the pharmaceutical domain to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and to ensure that solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external partners, to gather and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including business process models, use cases, and user stories.
Facilitate requirements workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Provide expertise and guidance on pharmaceutical industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
Mentor and guide junior business analysts as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical domain.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes, including drug development, clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and commercialization.
Proven experience with business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Knowledge of relevant software and technologies, such as ERP systems, CRM systems, and data analytics tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
