Job Summary
Artemis is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer with a deep understanding of digital content, graphic design, performance analysis, and Section 508 compliance. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing a wide variety of content for a federal client. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience designing products including, but not limited to social media graphics, paid media content, toolkits, web content, slide decks, print media and more.
This is a role for a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in management consulting. This position needs an individual that provides superior customer service, responds well to pressure, and maintains a positive and flexible attitude.
This is a contingent hire position. A signed letter of commitment is required.
This is an on-site position.
The expected compensation at the time of requisition creation is between $80,000-$100,000. The position offers medical, dental and vision coverage. Additional benefits such as 401K, disability insurance and PTO are provided as well.
Primary Responsibilities
Understand customer landscape, goals, and metrics for success.Translate complex issues into visually appealing content that ensures materials are easy to ready, understand, and use.Create story-driven narratives using visual elements that form the foundation of digital outreach campaigns.Thoughtfully expand creative direction of client's brand while adhering to style guidelines.Recommend creative concepts and new approaches for communication that incorporate leading best practices and methodologies.Make the customer wonder why they haven't seen such cool stuff before meeting you.Manage competing priorities and deadlines with professionalism and dependability.Review products for Section 508 compliance.Minimum Qualifications
5 years of strategic communications experience within the last 10 years.Bachelor's degree in a related field.Portfolio of work required.Demonstrated experience executing communications campaigns for federal clients.Ample experience with industry-leading software and tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).Strategic thinker with forward-thinking approach to marketing trends and technologies.Strong problem solver with robust critical thinking skills.Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.Active Secret government clearance.Legal authorization to work in the U.S.Desired Qualifications
Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively.Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
