is seeking an
Application Developer
to support the D3 division of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). You will be maintaining existing production and dissemination systems (CORE and DIO) for finished intelligence at DIA. Implement a new modernize enterprise system for FINTEL production and dissemination for the entire IC in a cloud architecture. Support integration of external applications dependant on CORE and DIO. Provide leadership and technical expertise to the client and prime on meeting organizational needs and security requirements with new and existing systems.This position will be based out of Washington, D.C. and will offer remote flexibility.What you will do
Maintain existing production systemsImplement new and modernize existing enterprise customer facing systems for daily productionInterface with cloud providers and systemsInteract with customers and prime contractors on needs, security requirements, and upcoming and existing systemsMake sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologiesMaster new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvementsResolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, Agile environmentExperience with development of server-side API exposed through REST endpointsExperience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular and React to build web application user interfacesExperience with relational databases and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and MongoDBExperience with system administration in a Linux OS environment to include installation, maintenance, tuning and troubleshootingWhat you need to have
Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearanceBachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of experience; or5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods5+ years of software development experience with a variety of programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacksHTML, CSS and JavascriptExperience with a major programing language such as NodeJS, Java, C#, .NET.Experience using application frameworks such as ExpressJS, NestJS, NextJS or SpringExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software productsExperience writing source code for legacy applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applicationsExperience using back end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
